1 - 2 hour workshop for anyone new to Montessori including parents/guardians during engagement sessions
This session reveals the 'why', the vision, the history, and the 'how'.
The learning approach with the adults is similar to how we approach the children. It is an experience of discovery, independence, interdependence, and choice in how and what is learned.

"Here's your mission: as a group put together this puzzle"
With twenty-eight pieces and little explanation, the group of parents and guardians use their reasoning power to make sense of this Planes of Development puzzle.
Team work, listening, compromising, and logical deduction bring them to a conclusion every time.
A control chart is given at the end of the exercise for the group to check their work, giving them independence in their learning.
"What are these mystery materials?"
Parents explore and discuss what the purpose is of each of these classroom materials. A control chart with a thorough explanation of each material is provided to the learning group at the moment when they need a boost of motivation and curiosity.
